ROOSTERMAN Well-Known Member Apr 29, 2017 #22 I have made a few boxes like that, But pine will rootaway after 3-4 years. Sureing the longer of the sides up will help it last a little longer, as when wet and stepped in it puts pressure against the sides. Dont forget to level the box before filling

It literally took me minutes to make very simple and easy diy project.
