4 x Sensi Star 2, Day 40 flowering. 12hrs on 12hrs off.
2 x CBD Crews Critical Mass CBD in right hand side.
Just water for them, no feed this time but a mate give me a wee drop of bloombastic so I'll give them it next feed.
I'm quite impressed with 30 watts/sq/ft as I was a '50 watt a sq footer'.... lol but it's all about the even canopy and even par readings across it....;)

I've 2 x 10 watt 385nm uv leds and 2 x 10 watt 420nm leds I might slot in between the FOTOP that are 10"-12" away from plants if I can be bothered lol

Might be a good time to introduce a bit of low blue n uv as a "finisher".

Hey Mo! Have you ever tried the GG boards without, or just with minimal heatsink? Like a 2-3 mm aluminium sheet? Im trying to figure out max wattage for this kinda situation.
I had a good look at your planta, all logged in and new phone/screen for pretty pics. Looks really healthy and nice, deep green and lovely, 30 w/foot seems to be more than alright. Hope you get a bit of sun again soon, if no there is plenty here in Spain :)

Btw are you using megacrop or is that just something i imagined reading?

There are no good UV chips atm. You can find some in the upper UVA spectrum but you might as well get a reptile bulb honestly to hit them all.

No megacrap.... lol
Growsure Tomato Food from clones to chop.
I have a 2 part "Wilma feed" AWA i think made it? thats been lying on shelf for over six months I might try.
I bought it for cheap as chips off the discount aisle and although it's fer hydro a feed is a feed! Lol.

No sun here ffs! There's a bank of cloud from the Eastern seaboard o America to France blocking the PAR.

Yes, the GG boards, I have one on a thin sink, about 2-3mm I think but with a small fan on it. They can pump out some par on full but I've nearly all my leds running super soft so heat is not an issue

As for the UV Epileds/Epistars.
Ive heard over the years that they're a waste of time - not efficient, they'll burn out, they'e as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike..... BUT I can't recall ANYONE testing them in a grow yet.......?
They cost £7.45p each and I got 2 to try out. Quite pricey.
They'll probably only cover 1 plant properly.
I had to mount them on a small passive heatsink , about 18" long x 4" wide to be able to slot them between the FOTOP Boards. So 1x uv at each end with a 420nm led in the center. 30 watt-ish of them, 10 watts apiece.
I'l put it on this evening, see what it's like :bigjoint:

I think its the uvb, 270-280 nm, which isnt feasible for led. Mainly used in medical, like those lights they use to harden ceramic tooth fillings.

I don't have par meter at moment, although it shouldn't read much anyway.

To test uv output stare at the light until your eyes feel "gritty" - think of arc eye through welding.......
