Diy Drip System??

Would it be possibly for me to get a resevoir fill it with water/nutrients and have a pump on a timer that would water soil plants??? I think its called a drip irragation system??
Any ideas??? I am willing to spend hmmm probly 100-200.00 i would like to only spend 100 but???
Any ideas??

I had built a diy ebb and flow awhile back and use it for a drip now.

Get two plastic containers that fit in each other, the bottom the reservoir and the top holds the plants. Drill the holes in the top container to drain and for the tube to come up. Always have at least 2 drain holes in case one gets plugged.

I put an aquarium water pump in the bottom and ran a hose to a piece of pvc with an endcap. I then got an aquarium air tuning kit and some 1/4" hose. I drilled some holes in the endcap for the tubing and the air kit has some valves with it. I ran from each hole a valve and the the tubing to each plant and adjusted till I had the right flow for each one and then put the pump on a timer.

This isn't a high quality setup but something to try out to see how it goes.
