So I'm new to this forum but I've been lurking for about a year. I finally decided to start some plants, after enjoying quality bud for years, and dreaming of the day it doesn't have to be through anyone else.
So I originally sprouted 12 bag seeds in a plate and paper towel from good quality stuff, looked lime green and tasted fruity but, obivously, had seeds.
I then planted them in blue plastic cups(that do not let light through, I've checked). I put the cups in a milk crate lined with tin foil and clamped a 42 w daylight CFL with a reflector clamp about 4 inches from the cups. Within a day or two every plant sprouted and its been a few weeks. They have been on a 18/6 light cycle and most have sprouted at least 5 or more inches out of the cups.
I decided to keep 6 of the plants indoors and planted the other 6 outside.
The ones I still have inside seem to be flourishing. They definetly need to be moved to bigger containers, but they are about 7 inches high - light and dark green and have resinous leaves.
I would say the plants are growing pretty well but is there anything else I should be doing? When can I start flowering these plants?
and I know this question is asked all the time, but from the average home grower who spends about two hours or so a day with his plants, what will the average yeild per plant be, and as long as I pull the male plants before they polinate the females, will this turn out to be bangin bud or just some normal brick quality reg?
Thanks for your help and advice! I'll have pics in a few days when I switch the pots.
