DIY Cloner, rain water

I've made a couple cloners in the past and I've had great success.
But I've recently sparked up a cloner and after 10 days I've had nothing but death. I've come to realize the only thing that is different is the water..

I've lived on well water many years and now I'm on city water that seems to be a little too chlorinated.
I think the issue is the chlorine.
I'll be cleaning them out and restarting fresh but rain water.
Has anyone used rainwater for cloning? Or anyone have any thoughts on it?

Do not use rain water. It is very alive and will create unnecessary problems for you. If the chlorine is really high you can neutralize it with a "fish aquarium" type neutralizer.

Thats kinda what I was worried about, it being too alive. Wasn't sure that it would be beneficial. I think I'm just going to grab a few gallons of distilled water at the store.

Just use the machine at the store that costs 0.35-.045/gal. It’s 0 ppm and works great.
