DIY Bucket System???!!

I have a question to all you RIU elite members or really anyone. I see these bucket systems, ive made a homeade tray drain system, but now thT i am going larger i would like to have a bucket system with about 50 buckets, I have no idea about the sizes of resevoirs, or controll sizes, or wht size pumps for that typa system.. i wouldnt want he buckets to be more than 2-3 gallons. Anyone know the exact steps to not spending 400+ on a 8 bucket system. im pretty handy if some one could help me with the specs?

i would just stick to something easyer...flood and drain tables..a 50 bucket system doesnt seem very productive to me..it seems like headaches..imagine the ph drift in each one...

agree! there's a lot to be said for a single reservoir!
