Distance from Fluorescents?

Hey guys and gals, quick question regarding fluorescent lighting: how far away from the top of the plant do I want the light to be and does that change from veg to flower?

Thanks

Skitz is right. Fluoros you generally want no closer than 1" and no further away than 3"
It wouldn't change for flowering, but if you try to flower with regular tube fluoros you are going to be sad because they dont penetrate the canopy of the plant very well.
You can flower with tubes I guess, but definitely get cfls, the twisty light socket kind, and definitely will need more when you flower than when you are vegging.

Thanks for the info. guys. This is my first indoor grow - I've always done outside. I've ordered a 4 foot, 4 light fixture with 2 blue and 2 red spectrum T5s from HTG that will hopefully arrive soon!
