Disinfecting marijuana?

Is their anyway to disinfect marijuana without hand washing it with soap and water? I make lots-o cannabutter and I'm tired of trippin out about the dealer not washing his hands...

Don't worry .. Any harmful microbes would be killed when you boil the herb.

Putting anything on your bud to "disinfect" it will most likely ruin it.

Alright thanks all, I actually did just end up smoking it... haha. I had a friend get a severe cold from eating some butter i made awhile back. I don't if it was related but w.e. I guess i just gatta man the fuck up.

making the cannabutter should disinfect it. The weed you smoke and been passed thru so many hands already, I mean think about for a second.... Plus when you smoke it I would imagine the flame disinfects it as well.
