I was considering maybe neem oil mixed with water..?

hell.. now that i start thinkin of it.. im pretty sure if i dip it and brush the leafs for eggs that it would take care of the problem...

BUT

what does RIU think?

What's the problem?

If it's bugs, then yeah, neem oil with a drop or two of dish soap in water will do nicely.

yeah good point mate.. I have a little bottle and putting it on clones should do the trick.. but than again i figured dipping into water would THOUROUGHLY get the plant and i wouldnt have to worry about a fast mite or bug crawling around opposite side of stem (tricky mother fuckers.

I would have never expected dishsoap.. but than again i know my friend used dilutted dish soap on his lemon tree to stop the bugs.

What would you use to brush the leafs? if i had a paint brush id use that.. but unfortunatly i lost it, any ideas? :]

I know what you mean. Whenever I pick up clones from someone else I always dip the clones entirely, and leave them completely submerged for at least five minutes. The plants can hold their breath a lot longer then the bugs.

I usually just use my fingers. But submerging the clones entirely should be all you need to do. ;)

wow man thanx a lot! and hahahaha thats so funny on the plants holding their breath you should make that into a signature mate. ACTUALLY on second thought.. can I have permission to use that as a signature? xD xD xD xD xD xD

So how much neem oil would you recommend putting into the water as I only have a small maybe 2oz bottle. (shits expensive!)

ANND is that wat you use? or do you just use the dish soap?

if its the water that suffocates the bugs I would think that club soda would be a lot more effecient as when it evaporate it turns into c02 :] :] so maybe in liquid form it would be doin the leaf good.. but it may speed up the absorbtion rate of the leaf and allow some soap molecules to be sucked up.. so i figure the neem oil with the club soda would be harmless :] :]

Feel free to use it in your signature, I've already got one I like. :)

I dunno how much neem oil to use, I've actually never used it myself, but I've seen it used successfully by other people. I use my own home made concoction with: garlic, chilli/hot sauce, clove, cinnamon, rosemary, dish soap, and a silica nutrient supplement. I also use diatomaceous earth, but that stuff is dangerous to inhale, very not-safe to be used on flowering girls.

I'd go with whatever is labeled on the bottle.

The club soda is an interesting idea. The bubbles might help knock the bugs off the plant.

That's what the dish soap does, makes the bugs slippery wet so they can easily get covered by water and drown.

lol thanks mate! yeah! just gotta make sure its a fresh bottle and the bubbles will knock the bitches out, and lmfao thats so funny bro the soap makes the bugs slipper.. than they get covered with water and drown.. hahahahahha

dude u just naturally produce good sigs. haha
