Different stages of flower in same res

So hope this doesnt sound to stupid but here it goes. im wondering if i had 4 tubs (2 for veg and 2 for flower) using rdwc is there any way to have 1 res for the 2 veg tubs and 1 res for the 2 followering tubs if you run purpetual. i guess is there a PPM for flowering that will serve early flowering and late flowering. same with veg. that way i could just lift the lids off the tubs and move them from veg to flower and run a perpetual? or do i need a separate res for each tub and up the PPM as they mature. i guess maybe looking for a one size fits all kind of happy medium for the entire flowering period and entire veg period

I run roughly 40 plants in asingle 4x4 flood and drain tray. Usually there is 4 different stages of flower from young clones to almost ready to harvest. They all get fed the same nutrients and grow very happily. I know this may not MAX out growth as per specific weeks of flower, but it grows healthy happy, tasty potent plants. I have grown to believe that these plants will take what they want if its there for them and you don't over do it. So I try to provide a nice medium strength balanced feed all through flower. I feed right until harvest and still usually get just a little fade right at the end when the plants are really finished up, there is no need to flush them if you don't over feed them in the first place.

All my veg plants are on their own single res as well. Everything from freshly rooted clones to mother plants.

so on your 4x4 flood for flower do you just pull the ones ready to harvest and throw new "larger clones" in to replace those just harvested. in theory just keeping plants constantly coming

Basically, I usually do them in batches of about 10 plants. I try to always have a cycle of fresh clones, rooted clones in veg, and plants flowering. About every 3ish weeks I harvest plants and put fresh plants into flower. My clones only veg for about 1-2 weeks mostly to build roots. I put them into flower about 8 inches tall.

I use 6 inch pots full of grow rocks/hydroton. I recently built mini support cages for each plant, so I can stop using bamboo stakes to hold up my colas. Having my plants in pots makes it easy for me to move them around and cycle my perpetual, or control my canopy. I can also rotate the plants every few days for more balanced growth and maturation.
