Different color in the newest set?

Hi a plant of mine is 2 1/2 weeks old. I've taken the best care with my crop as I know from my readings. Every once in awhile I'll notice something strange or unexpected that I have questions about. I've noticed These two new sets of leaves coming in that are an orangish color. Is this normal?

I've also just noticed some possible mold on the root. Kind of freaking out now. Any help would be appreciated.
