so i have one plant just sprouted one set of true leaves, soil for seeds and starters diluted 1/4 strength of nutes every other watering to moisten top soil a little bit, in a small root pouch to let easy drainage and air to flow in and out, i have two cfl 75 watt daylight 1300 lumens 5000k a piece, is this a good set up for the seedling stage, it is also about 1-2 inches tall holding up ok but dont want it to become weak and fall over. any suggestions?

plant is 2 inches and both bulbs are in a y socket 8 inches above the plant. in a total area of 2 sq. ft.

cfl's should be at least 3 inches away from the foliage I thought?

yea you wanna put them in close or you gonna have a stretchy plant.i kept mine at about 2-3 in away.

Stop giving your plant nutes. There is absolutely no need and will generally result in issues more times than not. Seedlings get given water, not nutes.

so pretty much move the lights closer and only give it water with no nutes, ok got it.
