Did I top this right?

First time topping.I just did it and I'm curious if it looks correct? Thanks guys the strain is chem dawg from hso seeds organic soil, greenhouse eventually from inside!

I would have taken off the nub between the two leaves removed instead (pic with the top in your hand) but yeah that will work....g/l

Ohhh I see so I technically could have gone up a node your saying and just cut the tiny growth in between! Noted lol thanks for the advice man
