Did I top correctly?

Hey guys!

I topped my plant on her 5th node!
I feel really bad, but its for the greater good!

Did I top her correctly? I followed the instructions I saw on several forums...

you need to have a good set of nodes after you top the plant because they become the main shoots
if there really small it stunts the plants but if there a good size, like an inch long, the plant carrys on growing as if you didn't top the plant

I have not read this anywhere else, can you provide a source for this please? Is it from your own experience? Or did you hear/read this??

sorry fellow can't find a desent close up pic but all the top nodes will be 1/2" or more

So it has been 10 hours since I topped!

And the plant is looking great!
