My plant is only like four days old. It stretched because I kept it in my garage when it sprouted out of the soil. It seemed tall enough to start lst but all the pictures of lst I've seen have been of much older plants.
you can start lst at any age in fact the younger imo the better... when the plant is very young it is easier to manipulate it and get it growing the way you want you'll see the difference wae it in the next couple of weeks so hang in there wae it mate
agree .. easy when they are young and stem is soft ..
tho when its so small it wont have much effet .. other then Im sure the stem will stretch even more as ther are no side shoot it can shoot up ..
will just keep stretching in a attemt to find light .. I belive .. think you will end up with a very long stem before it actualy begins to make side shoot and make em grow up ..
dunno no experiance in this .. I LST when they have atlest 4 nots/leaves ..
i think the lst job is fine.. you could throw a lil dirt on the top of watt you got now to bury the stem a lil more, and move the light closer to the plant, but other than that it should do fine ime..
hmmm dunno ... depense .. forgot .. will you keep it out side ? (plant it in the ground )
my 70 days old plants (indoor) are in 7 gallon pots now (and I wish I had 9 and had repot em just before flowering)
I startet out in 1 gallon .. then 3 .. had rootbound .. then 5 then 7 .. but I also Veg for +6 weeks
if you plan on keeping them in pots do some research about soil mix .. nutriens in soil .. PH .. Epsom salt .. Lime .. micros ... rootbound and other stuff your plants will need/can help em .. and make a good mix for ther final pots/holes in the ground ..
