Hello all, I am a first time grower and this my first attempt at growing my own. I started off with miracle grow(0.14-0.14-0.14) enriched potting mix, I have fed my my plants no nutrients because of this. The picture you see below is the best i could get with the camera i have, the plant is 22 days old same with all my other's, they all seem to be showing similar signs so thats why i only have 1 picture. If anyone could give me their insight on what I can do to fix this, and if it was the soil I was using or could it be that they have gotten no nutrients at all?? please help??

P.S Im open to any sort of tips or insight anyone could have. If u require more pics to assist me please tell and ill see that i can do. Happy smoking bongsmilie

my soil is .07 .05 .04 and i have to feed after like 10-14 days, either that or overwatering,i dought its a mag deff. since its still got cotyledons im leaning towards over watering, you dont have to soak the soil that much when they are that young, and wait till the soil is like crusty on the top and pot is light before watering, thats the most common mistake for a newbie

ok guys here is the rest of them

Im gunna admit ten fold i over watered, at first i did every second day like an idiot, soon learned my lesson from a few helpful individuals. Now i keep a water log, so i dont forget like a dumbass.

and my soil ph is all at 7, my run off is at 6.5-7, and i use distilled/filtered water for feeding. I do have vege nutrients so if u all want me to take pics of them for u to see i will. Just incase Im about to use something I will regret

They are to young to feed and worry about, let em do thier thing. I never feed mine untill they are 8 inchs tall. plenty of feed in that compost mate. As for soil ph forget about it. That only goes wrong when ya overfeed. Keep the soil moist not saturated and they will be great! My 2 cents:peace::joint:

This is my Flowing Nutrients that I was gunna use please tell me if this is a bad idea?DSCF4423.jpgDSCF4422.jpg

This is my vegetative nutrients that i was also gunna use please tell me if this is bad?

Another tip, i grow my seedlings out in Seedling mix. Fuck al fert in it, which is what ya want. Ya can adjust your feed acordingly. Never need to do mine until what i said above. Big pots equals lots of soil equals plenty of feed. Happy plants. I will explain on potting up but im sure ya will find plenty on that.

The veg fert is fine if used properly
Th bloom is for mature flowering plants not seedlings. Bad idea at that stage for sure
Edit- They are both fine if used gently. Always a newb mistake to over nuture the plant.

Im not a fan of chem ferts but that dosen't mean they are bad, Just go easy on it. They don't need feeding for a while. Potting up is more benifical. Mature plants react well to feed in my experience. Seedlings do not. you have got a couple of weeks before ya even need to feed

a word of advivice for the flowering, nute, it has no nitrogen which is not good, despite popular beliefe nitrogen is a fundimental part of growth in ALL stages, for some reason people think plants dont need nitrogen in flower, any way, the foods fine just make sure u get some bloodmeal or sumthing to make up for the lack of nitrogen

I used mg for a few years before swithing to ff....The ticket with mg nuted soil is to watch how much you water them....wait until the top of the soil is crusty before watering again, remember, everytime you water them, your dosing them with nutes too... Growing can be acomplished using mg soil once and if you found the key to watering and trying to keep the fungus nats awy..lol.....good luck....

i have a similar MG 18-24-18 which i use at the beginning stage of flowering ,the 0-10-10 is good for later into flowering and can be used together with something else if mixed right

you can use miracle grow it has all the essential nutes like everyone else(yes their NH3 is the same as the hydro shops nitrogen ), but not at full strength... ever. you can use 1tsp per gallon every other watering, this will give you an npk of 6-8-6, you can use this for your whole grow and you will be happy. infact you could//should bump it up to 1.5tsp(npk = 9-12-9 pretty much half strength), because the N is a little lower in the tomato food. and N is the saltiest nute, keeping the npk around 10-10-10 and feeding every other watering is what you want.
