Did I LST right??

Ermm.. Nah man. LST is where you tie the top of the plant down to direct it's growth. So you'd bend the plant over (not too much, otherwise it will snap!) and gently bring it down to the bucket rim. Tie it down with some string so it won't bend back up then work your way around the pot. As it grows you can train it into a circular motion, to follow the plant pot rim. Put some holes in the pot so you have something to tie the string too! You can do any pattern you want or that suits you grow situation best, like light distance ect..

Ok-- looks like you pinched-out the middle and then bent a side down???
Bending is called supercropping... it is stressful to the plant BUT they recover, especially when done that early in the grow.... was that the top you SC'd??? Some strains do NOT like to be LST'd or Supercropped-- the "Bubba" strains REALLY hate it......
what are you growing???

this is how it should be done. GL

No, what your practicing is a form of high stress training called "supercropping." Low stress training is the practice of tying down upper branches to expose the sections underneath the top to more light, while at the same time keeping the plants height in check. Check out a few videos on youtube on LSTing there are PLENTY of them!

No that was just one offshoot leaf I didn't want to really mess things up so I didnt go crazy. That plant is a white widow. I just wanna make the plants bushier for more buds. Advice? Opinions?
