Ok so I have some OG Kush going right now. I germed 6 and they all died!!!! I had the light too close and fried them....

So I germed another 3 and two popped up fast. As the were waiting to sprout I put another two in the soil so I have 5 going with right now. i have two already up and one that is behind those two.......

The other two are still waiting to sprout.....with me so far???

Ok so the two that are sprouted are a deep dark green. The only experience I have had with plants this young is that they are bright green.... did I do something wrong or am I just being a new parent...

Other question is I was checking to see how the other seeds were doing and I pushed the dirt out of the way very gently a little at a time. I found the seed right where I had left it in the dirt but right next to it was the taproot.... it looked like it was growing upwards.......whats this all about???

About the taproot - you may have just disturbed it when brushing away the dirt to look at it. But in any case, the taproot will find its way down eventually if it isn't messed with. Even if it starts off in the wrong direction.

Might want to throw some more information out there so people can help you with the other question. Like:

The soil/potting mix you use. Nutrients. How often you water or moisten the soil. Runoff pH if you have checked it. Any germination steps you took besides putting them in soil. Etc...

Hope you have a good grow once you get things sorted out with germination!

I was having seedling problems also then I found my temps was over 100...Good ventilation and temps and not much light I think is ideal for seedling with high humidity..nutes not so much a big deal in my very limited experience it just you need low light with good temps and ventilation so you dont fry your seedlings.

Give more details on your setup and you will get better responses...additionally provide some pics and you should get more accurate and detailed responses for this thread...

nutes are a big deal for seedlings actually, if you try feeding them to early you will kill them. You dont have all the seeds in the same container do you? have any pics? i doubt their is a problem but a pic would allow us to confirm or deny that for sure and put your mind at ease.
