My wife and I were discussing the song "blinded by the light". I think it says douch and its a song about teenage sex. What do you guys think?

Your wife is right. Women are always right, even when they're wrong. Regardless it's still "deuce" according to every lyric site I cared to check.

Got google???
The Earth Band's recording of the song features several changed lyrics. The most prominent change is in the chorus, where Springsteen's "cut loose like a deuce" is replaced with "revved up like a deuce."[1][2][3]
This is commonly misheard as "wrapped up like a douche."[4] Springsteen himself has joked about the controversy, claiming that it was not until Manfred Mann rewrote the song to be about a "feminine hygiene product" that it became popular.[5]
wikipedia is our friend

I wonder if "cut loose like a deuce" could have been inferred to mean taking a shit back in the early 70s when it came out, or was deuce not slang for shit back then?

You know....I started getting stoned about then.....its been a blur since....I'm a rush fan!
