Ok my best friend just went to his 'spot' and found that his little crop is under 4-5 inches of water!! I just need some opinions on:

-What could happen to them?
-What can we do to save them? Can we put down a shit load bags of soil to soak it up?
-Any chance in them surviving?
-Can we transplant them?

Thanks for any input!! Got rep if you help us out GREATLY!!

Dont know about this outdoors. But im sure you should just let nature takes its course...

-What could happen to them? They will wilt up bend over and die if left in sitting water. At best theyll be shocked and your turn around will be delayed.
-What can we do to save them? Can we put down a shit load bags of soil to soak it up? Sounds like a bad spot that is prone to water gathering , wouldnt risk a repeat
-Any chance in them surviving? Not unless the water dies up or is displaced rather quickly.
-Can we transplant them? YES I would ASAP try not to damage the roots as much as possible. expect a little wilting over the first few days, within a week of TLC they should perk back up.

so it is okay to transplant? they are starting to flower....

You don't have much of a choice as I see it. Again they may be shocked and if you were expecting a Nov 1st harvest you may have to add a couple extra weeks due to recovery time but if you keep up on them they should come back, Where'd all the water come from any way?

crazy rain the past 3 days from hurricane eduardo...really shitty..But thanks again im going to go help my buddy with them later on today!
