Desperate for Canadian Seeds

I just got fucked on an order of seeds that were seized by customs in NY that were sent from GB, and my perpetual grow just went down the drain.
Anyway, one bright spot in this fucked up situation is that I live about 6.5 hours drive to Canada, like Niagara Falls, Toronto or Montreal.
Does anyone know anything about buying seeds in Canada?
What kind of ID is required? Somehow I don't think a US passport or CT drivers license will work.
I have Googled it but would rather hear from personal experience if possible.
Thanks

Wow order from true north seed bank or crop king or any of the many that are IN Canada !

In addition you can buy seeds at hydro shops all over the place. No ID required and they take debit and credit cars.

The selection at indoor farmer is quite amazing actually. Some of the top seed breeders and a lot of fancy strains.

My last order was with https://www.jamesbeancompany.com/

They don’t have all the freebies as others do but I got Bodhi buy 2 pks get one free.

$77 a 12pk which all contained 13ea.

Took 3 days I believe, to Florida.
I found the prices to be outrageous and the selection limited, but maybe now I will reconsider.
Do you recommend anyone stateside that is reasonable with good genetics?

Crossing the border to grab seeds might not be the greatest option right now, dispensaries are being shut down for legalization and most carry crap anyhow. Then you'd have to cross the border going home with illegal seeds. Physical seed stores are few and far between, are currently illegal and rarely carry anything worthwhile. You're probably better to order from a US seedbank.

Another thing is don't get caught up on all the most popular models/strains.
Remember most all of the genetics Europe has,,,, CAME ORIGINALLY FROM USA/PNW.

Much of the EU stuff. IMHO is watered down, tired and a lot of it that claims to be older strains, have all but run their course/ IMHO of course/YMMV.
Alt of those original 80s genetics are available as hybrids, and in some cases the seeds are available, but most are hybrid crosses of cherished clones people have kept alive as far back as the 70s.

I know the Original 79 Romulan mother is still alive, and several people have it.

The Original NL5 clone mother is still alive from 80s, and is not to be confused with what come from seeds. NL5 is predominately Thai, but has a pretty good yield. It was originally called Basic 5 when Super Sativa Seed Club first used it in the 80s. I don't know anyone in EU that has/is using an original NL5 cut.

I don't know what type strains youre looking for but I can make a few suggestions.

For a 100% INDICA

Dominion Seed Company/Duke Diamond VA... Has verified Chem91 VA.. Skelly Hashplant, Super Sativa Seed Club Sk1. 90s VA Afghani

Sativa Dominant
Dominion Skunk.. Speedy high, that turns into meltdown after a while.///Really good production, and is done in 56-66 days

Dominion Skunk genetics are.

Chem91 VA x Skelly Hashplant x Super Sativa Seed Club Sk1... Skelly HP Is probably the most sought after of all Hashplant cuts. Skelly also known as PUCK has been around since 1989, and is a cross of the original PNW Hashplant/Nl1 and came from Nevils original breedings around 1988. Was found in 89.

I believe the PNW HP is heavily Lebanese Narrow Leaf Hashplant x Kandahar, or Mazar, not sure. But a broad leaf.

Mostly Indica.

Dominion Seed Company

Granny Skunk

It is original 90s Virginia Beach Afghani x Skelly/SSSC Sk1. Heavy duty Robotic/trippy high.
Done 54-66 days. Great production, nd does great even with a bit less light.

No sure we have any seeds available in mass yet... would be good news if we did! MA seems to be dragging its feet getting this shit rolling

Check out Peak Seeds BC and Jordan of the Islands. I believe both ship to the US. Not sure what kind of guarantees they offer but try shooting Peak an email. He usually responds the same day. Great prices too.

In my experience most shops offer "relabelled" seeds. At least that's the case here in AB.

@gwheels, you can walk in off the street and buy?
Why not order stateside? No customs..
Old habits are hard to break, and not many sites where I can get fems.

My order from True North took 5 business days. Only ordered there because they accept credit cards.
I checked them out, but all the strains that I like are sold out.
Anyone hear of Farmers Lab in Canada? They ship 3 day UPS from Vancouver, but only sell their own genetics.
Their product seems interesting, but I'm leery of spending $300 on unknown genetics, but I guess it's all a crap shoot today with the American strains you can get, especially fems.
