Beardogg,

I have enough friends I don't need any more but I'll tell you what I am a patient worried about my rights, and I am really fucking concerned with whats going on this year in our legislature so I decide to educate myself and share what I've learned with others. But I got you reading :)
not that you need my approval, but thank you for your info.+rep

If I understand the system here in Washington it will take some time yet before any proposed changes will become law. A period of over a year at least. In the mean time I think I'll add compliance to my business plan. On first blush this looks like alot of "establishing authority" much like the health dept regs for running a food service. This will make it more difficult and expensive to do business. That much is certain. So far I've only noted reference to dispensaries. I'll do a search for additional on this bill but I'm wondering where the provisions are on growing? The legislature will be adding the issue of dispensaries to thier agenda. Tacoma assures that. This is one possible bill. Has anyone seen others? I've been expecting something based on the "Lifevine collective" model.

Went to the site for the bill linked above. What more do you need to know? I'm cornering my local PA and asking if I just follow these now will he agree I'm OK? I'll be reading and re-reading this.

Ackmo read and re-read the fine print before you jump to any conclusions that way you can make a truly informed decision. Keep in mind the dispensary section I posted above is just a small section of this bill, "that's what the thread was asking about" there is much more to it.

Appleseed you can find a full version of this bill at the cannabis defense coalition website http://cdc.coop/ the "commercial" growing is going to give owners a even bigger headache if this passes. Dept of Agriculture yeahhhh!!!! :(

However I have "heard" but not seen anything to substantiate this yet but house bill 2401 here is the 09-10 info for 2401 (http://apps.leg.wa.gov/billinfo/summary.aspx?bill=2401&year=2009) will be back on the table for 2011.

I'm not here trying to tell anyone what to do I just want to let you all know what is coming our way. As patients and providers, "dispensaries or designated providers" we are all in this together. It's in all of our best interests to read and re-read this.

Thank you all for taking the time to read the info

D.M.

Just a bill for now but VERY interesting. Back to the original question. How do you do business under the current law? By interpreting the law that exists. Big fight over the words "at one time". --- If I rent you space in my grow room and just happen to water your plants for you is there a limit to how many plants can be in one location?---Things like that.
I suspect what you are wanting to know is "How do I avoid getting my door kicked down and being treated roughly by LAW ENFORCEMENT." About the only ones that can answer that is local law enforcement and the PA office for your county. They would really rather not discuss it in my county and I'm trying to respect that. BTW. There's nothing easier than getting your state business licenses. Filed mine on-line and had my approvals in a very short time. If you do business in unincorporated areas of the county you avoid city permits.
