Desolation Wilderness Pics...

Taken this last Saturday from the summit of Pyramid Peak. Took the Rocky Canyon Trail that climbed 4400ft to the summit (just shy of 10,000ft). Very steep trail, but the reward of the panoramic landscape below was worth the effort.

That would be sick as fuck! I'd probably be jogging up there to die of lack of oxygen because of my stupid ass thinking im hardcore and shit.

Did you smoke a bowl at the peak?

Looks very beautiful up there btw, grats on your trip and return.

Glad you enjoy the pics my friend. This was one of the most rewarding views from some of the peaks I've summited. My next goal is Mt. Conness (~13,000ft) this October on the Yosemite border of the Eastern Sierra. I didn't smoke, but I left a bud in the ammo canister (for notes/signatures/niknaks) at the summit for anyone who might need it....:D

About a 2 day snowmachine ride from any road... love winter camping out in the boonies, this lake is a personal spot.

nice landscape pic!

if you ever plan on spending the night at a place like that(in a tent hopefully:mrgreen:), try taking some time lapse star shots. if you do it before like 11pm, the sun under the horizon will create sort of a dome effect in the sky and light up the pic a bit.

sort of like you can see on this pic. it was taken at 9pm. you can see where the sun set
