Oh good god there is almost nothing more overblown right now than the price of vintage guitars as all the boomers attend rock and roll hero camp. Just wait ten more years and the price of a nice old Gibson will be going for about as much as a Hopalong Cassidy watch is today.
The boomers always screw up a good thing. I remember when you could buy a 67-69 Camaro for under $10gs..now everyone thinks their rattted out pile is worth $50K because boomers were willing to pay anything to get into their old cars.
