So the senate didn't pass Kamala Harris' bill, and you are saying the 'Democrats screwed it up'?![]()
House vote on marijuana legalization bill postponed after backlash from moderate lawmakers
Congress has a few weeks left in its scheduled session to pass COVID-19 legislation and bills to keep the government funded.amp.usatoday.com

Yeah, legalization should have been his top priority. Fuck health care.Obama could have legalized it when he had the house and Senate. So yeah, the Dems fucked it up.
That being said, "legalization" (prohibition 2.0) isn't all it's cracked up to be. If you don't mind paying corporations that control the cannabis industry $13.50 - $20.00 per gram for the what you can get for $6.00 on the BM then "legalization" is the tits!
Obama also tried to give everyone in our nation access to affordable healthcare and we all saw how the Republican controlled states stopped their citizens from getting it. This wouldn't be any different. And it wouldn't have passed because Obama's first 2 years were busy fixing the Republican led economic mess, and the next 6 getting trolled by them so he couldn't get anything done on his agenda outside of a executive order.Obama could have legalized it when he had the house and Senate. Your argument is “whatever”?So your arguement is... but, Republicans.
Duly noted.

To your 'but Obama' troll yes.So your arguement is... but, Republicans.

Oh noesWhatever, there are threads and threads of you clowns arguing against universal health care, education, and all the things that equalize the opportunity for upward mobility because it might cost you some meaningless bits of paper.
"Free stuff" wasn't it? Lol, you have no Liberal street cred, you may as well be a Republican.
Stop watching so much South Park.Mmmmkay. The democratic scapegoat for not doing the right thing is Republicans.
Democrats are not above criticism.

Stop watching so much South Park.
No one is above criticism.
I think now is the time to stuff ideology, the past debate over healthcare was more complex with large support for private options, Obama never had total control of the agenda, compromise had to be sought then. First Americans must get their country back under the control of a responsible government, that comes first, everything else is distraction. This is about pragmatism in this moment, not ideals, they come after you win.I have never used "but Obama" in my life. I don't support Republicans, but that doesn't mean I'm naive enough to think that the corporately controlled Democrats are some panacea of awesomeness. They are the better choice by far, but that doesn't make them perfect.
Obama (Democrats) dropped the ball on healthcare too. He stopped short of what was needed to control healthcare and drug costs. Fact!
I expect that from a CanadianYawn.
