fellow posted this in another forum.........i am a professional grower and i dont use any cal or mag supplements cause i dont have to...........if you are using ro or distilled water and yer nutrient shows cal and mag on the label try runnin yer ph between 5.1 and 5.4 for a while and see what happens..i think you will be pleasantly surprised....you have to get above 6.0-6.1 or below 5.5 to get adequate uptake of cal and mag.....i believe that above 5.5 phosphorhus availability starts diminishing so i start my input solution at 5.2..as nutrients are used and evaporation/transpiration occur the ph will climb..the girls love it and show no signs of deficiency....only post this guy ever made.....paraphrasin but thats close...............................amywho i'm somewhat of a rookie to water but i'm tryin this with one of my waterfarms...6th week flower and i got one rockin at 5.2 ph and ppm 9.40 with floranova bloom...................what do you fellers think?

I dunno. I'm past my experimental phase and have a routine that works fine. I usually don't use cal mag in my DWC grows because my tap is good. My coco hempys need calmag, but a single bottle will last me 2 summer growing seasons.
