How many of yall are using water from your dehumidifier in humidifiers? Any issues from it? Ive been doing distilled trying to avoid the mineral dust but want to try and reduce expenses for the room.
My dehumidifier water tests @ 8.2 ph

Your question was about using the water from a dehumidifier, not the feasibility of a combo unit. There should be no issues with using the water from your dehumidifier in your humidifier.
Have you actually
I will use water from my dehumidifier in place of ro water for feeding when lazy and have some extra. I do add pool shock so not worried about bugs and such. Dehumidifier water is about the same as distilled water in ppm properties, etc.
Hi what is the ph on your dehumidifier water?

The ph on my dehumidifier water once I put jacks in is 5.8 - 6.0. Of course it’s not all dehumidifier water but mixed in with my ro water. I don’t get enough from my dehumidifier to actually refill the res. Just supplement the ro water so I have less to make.

I drain off my ac and Dehum water into a 27gal tote. Once full, I throw some random nutes in it. I hook up a sump pump and water the outdoor garden.

I have shock on hand if I want to sterilize it but I usually end up just rinsing the tote off outside in my grass.

I do this. I generally give my dehumidifier tank a cleaning with a touch of bleach every couple weeks to knock down any micronasties but have been using it in my humidifier as well as for watering without any issues. It reads at 0ppm and the pH is 7.
