I have a deformed plant, has two premature leaves the other plant doesn't, and it has a gimp leaf. Though leaf was missing till I saw a gimp baby leaf chillen in a picture.

Set-up
Organic soil, and tap water.
4 x 26..96 watt T5 - 2ft HO lamps
2 weeks old... 2 inches tall
24/0 light rotation and lamps hanging about 10-12 inches above.

2 Bagseed planted at same time, one looks normal, other one is deformed. What to do? Also can I trim these baby leaves that are turning purple, circled in red?

So it was just born as a retard? Or has something to do with the soil and lights? I'm talking about the deformities circled in black. So it will still grow all right, or will it still be going gimp on me all over the place?

Also should I trim these circled in red? Will that help growth?

In My Opinion:

-Change the light cycle to 18/6 or 12/12 if your still having problems.
-Do not trim anything
-move that T5 closer (mine is about 2-4 inches away at all times)
-Nutrients if you can afford them (i use and recommend FoxFarm Tigerbloom, Big Bloom, Grow Big)

Good Luck, harvest well

It's normal for seeds to come out with some deformities, nothing to worry about, your plant(s) will grow out of it,some strains depending on light positioning can cause weird leaf sprouts but never worry about it. Hope you got some good strains.

OK, I'll keep growing it, and see what happens. I was thinking about moving the light cycle to 18/6< but still trying to figure out this cheapo timer.

I added some organic nuts a few days prior, but only did half dosage. They started turning neon green, so I gave them a flush. They starting to look good now, besides the deformities. I had to raise the lights, because the points on the leaves were bending upwards and getting a little crispy dark green.

Thanks for the help, we'll see what happens.

this is my grow I started a few days ago...
