DEFORMED LEAVES - What caused this?

I have 3 plants that have 1 or two lower fan leaves that came out odd - they have a sixth finger! One of them has a center finger that split like a snake tongue! In all 3 cases the opposing fan leaf didn't do this. Weird! I'm curious, is this genetic or something I did? All 3 plants are healthy (despite that gnaw spot on the one leaf you might notice - that problem is under control) and blooming nicely, so i'm not concerned, just VERY interested in knowing if anyone knows how this happened?

It's genetic. Its also pretty cool looking one. That's a new one to me, it's like a snake tounge! I've seen much weirder though. Should still be dank if grown out right, and by the looks of how healthy the leaf is it should go well!

Edit: that plant does look like it could use some nitrogen, and the light moved closer. Looks like stretched out now that I take a better look.

You have a good eye! Yes they got stretched early in their growth, newbie mistake one...light too far away! LOL I've corrected that mistake and also put a 2700k at the pot level since the top side lights probably can't reach the lower buds. I missed a couple feedings, so that could be why they look deficient. The snake tongue is MY personal favorite! I can't imagine what other deformaties you've seen! i thought mine were weird! LOL

Man some genetics like tangerine dream almost look like basil...that is a pretty cool genetic trait

The snake tongue is very cool, check out the strainhunters videos, they found a plant that had a FLAT stem!
