ok,give her 3/4 of what the schedule says, calmag, but leave out the grow....
hopefully we can make it through the grow without having to chop early:-|
I only included the grow because I was looking so yellow, i didn't figure a little extra Grow would hurt at this point....

Def burnt! You have a lot of nutrients for two plants! Be careful not to feed too much, and use a PPM/PH/EC meter to help manage your nutrient levels & water condition.

You couldn't be a little more specific with what 'a lot' means can you? I have kept 2 separate sets of notes and a journal on this grow, it's all (arguably) very well documented, where did I go wrong?

Note: I have a Hanna PH, EC, PPM and Temp meter, the all in one model, works wonderfully, I couldn't come up with all those random 6.37 ph's in my notes all on my own :)

i flushed one of my plants a few days ago and gave a heavy feed same day. It seems to be doing much better, so i did it with the rest of them today. After your flush you might have not fed enough thats why they didnt improve.

They might have started off deficient due to salt buildup or ph issue, then you flushed but didnt feed enough after, so they stayed deficient. After a flush they would need a good feed if they are deficient as they may not have been able to absorb nutes before the flush and you would have flushed any goodness out of the medium, so they need a good dose to get back on track, then you could slowly reduce them. Just my 2c.

I hear ya man, and I'm inclined to believe the same thing.... I'm sure I caused some loss of quantity by getting things out of whack but with about 5 weeks left I think I might have pulled her out of the downward spiral she was in.... I'm still loosing fan leaves but the rate of loss has slowed and the new growth on the plant (besides the curled tips) is looking fine and is a good color. The flowers are looking good as well, I'll never know how much better they might have looked but that's irrelevant at this point. Going forward I'm going to flush more when I water and hopefully avoid something like this happening again.... I'm going to give her a good feeding tomorrow morning or the next day... seems to be drinking slower so I wonder if that means she's eating less too?

Also, here's a couple bud pics, some you can see the curled, nasty looking newer growth that took a hit after the flush...

Thank you, only trouble is I'm not growing this strain next time so I might run into another host of issues, but I guess that's growing, as i grow every new strain I learn something new. I have a few of these beans left so one day I'll crack them and dust off these notes and get to growin! :)

I'm back and forth with it man, it's all good in the end though, I'm just going to burn it. Cross your fingers for me for a few more minutes....

Hey Runier, was readin your thread becuz ive just recently noticed burn on 1 or 2 of my leaves, im in my 5 week of flowering and am using ff tiger bloom, with earth juice sugar peak (0-6-4) . I use tap water that sits in the sun for 3 days to let any bad stuff evap out. 2 out of 3 of my plants are starting to show burns. This started very recently and it is in the same time frame as heavy feedings , and I mean light fert at the begining of the week and heavy feeding at the end of the week. I have cut back the feeding as of this morning, straight distilled water that is ph adjusted with ph down. And maybe just a quick question/ info for me, have you checked you ph meter to make sure you are getting true ph reading, Ive burnt my plants by a BAD ph reading. LOOKS GREAT THOUGH, enjoy the fruits of your stress and labor.

I check my ph with two soil meters (the wire type that you push into the soil) and a Hana PPM/PH/EC/Temp meter for checking water and nutes. Only issue I can see that I might have with that is the soil meters only work when they are in damp dirt, so if the ph is rising then I don't know it because the ph on the meter will rise back to neutral anyway as the dirt dries. I honestly don't think ph is a issue for me because when I am getting accurate readings they are in range and every last thing I ever water her with is PH'ed to the best of my ability before it goes into the soil.
Thank you for the kind words, if I end up with some potent and unique smoke at the end then I'll be thrilled, and I think I will.... a few jars of it too... :)
I don't think I'd call this stress or labor, this is a hobby, I'm not going to let it start stressin' me, though I'll sure as hell admit it sure feels good when everything is turning out just right.. :) I've had so much fun doing this I think it's a shame this plant is illegal, we all need to be sure to vote so we can get cannabis friendly candidates into office.
