Deficiency or nutrient burn?

I was wondering if someone might help pinpoint what is going on here. These plants are about 2 weeks from harvest, and all of a sudden the leaves started looking like...well...burnt and very yellow. I know this usually happens late in flower but there must be something else going on here. All are feeding from the same rez and the ppms during the last week spiked very high (about 1500ppm) due to a faulty ppm meter. The issue has been corrected and ppm is back down at about 900-950. Could this just be nute burn from that week of very high ppm?

YUP,,,,,,don't stop feeding! You corrected - keep going......Stopping will not help fix anything and the plant will only show corrections for N problems.....What you got is what it'll look like......The progression of the overfeeding will slow and stop soon.....

LMFAO! PPM meter problem.......I hated those things......I ran the 33% rule and NEVER had problems when I did hydro.

1: Mix according to nutrient makers charts....This is 100% solution.

Fill your res with the 100% solution.

2: Top off with 33% solution as needed.

Take a gallon of 100% solution and add 2 gallons of straight water to that - BINGO, 33% solution. Get that ratio? 1 part 100% to 2 parts plain water and pH it and use.

3: Dump and refill as required

Keep track of the amount of "top off" or "add back" as you go along. When you will be adding back an amount that the add back total will equal the amount of 100% you first started with. Don't add back! dump and refill the res with 100% solution and start the process over......same for bloom feeds.

You can now keep the ppm meter on the shelf and not get "meter problems".

Thanks to both of you!!...I figured it was nutrient burn but that's never happened before. The nutrient solution is pretty much always 1/2 or 1/3 strength from the feed chart as you've outlined Dr. Who. This particular time there were a few new additives included and base solution was weakened. The meter kept giving very low readings so more was added - big mistake!

I remember reading one of Heath Robinson's legendary threads where he said that he never goes over 700-800ppm with any of his plants. I think that's probably a good rule of thumb.
