Deficiency or Nute burn?? 5 Weeks into flower-- HELP!

Hi this is my first successful attempt, and im 5 weeks in. Everything was going well until about 2 weeks ago when I started seeing little brown spots start to appear on the bottom fan leaves, which has now spread up to the top of the colas. I flushed a week ago, and it still didn't clear up. I was feeding it with 2-7-7 miracle cactus food and molasses every other watering at half dosage, and its in miracle grow moisture control soil. any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have a buildup of toxic salts from fertilizers over time. Good idea to flush. It lppos like it wasn't getting the potassium it needed, causing the spotting.

That was my guess, I am going to do a flush tomorrow. I did have a bit of a PH issue, because I used a ph meter thats calibration was completely out of wack. I managed to change the runnoff ph from 5.7 to 6.2 ever since. Will i have any issues flushing with my tap water? It has a PH of 7.3, and also when should I expect to add nutes again?

DO NOT FLUSH!!!!!! That will only pop open more of the "timed release" poison,,,er ah I mean nutrients that are supposed to give you 6 MONTHS of feeding! If more open up it'll only get worse...

NASTY soil!

Your "feeding" a nutrient to "soil" that has been given a six month "supply" of little "timed release" balls mixed in.....The bad thing is that they have added a wetting agent that retains moisture and that in turn released more nutrient from the timed release balls. You DO now have a toxic salt situation that you are going to have LITTLE control over!

Here is what you need to do.
STOP using any added nutrient!
Water with ONLY pH'ed STRAIGHT water!
They should finish out, but the yield and quality will not be top shelf.

For your next grow. Find a nice quality ORGANIC soil (Potters Gold, Dr. Earths POTting Soil, etc,etc) and AVOID ANY "timed Release" nutritional soils!
Avoid MG fert's. Try something like DynaGro. It's relatively cheap and WORKS simply and effectively for new growers. Go to dyna's site for use info!

Your problems are far to many to list all from that soil and your adding more nutrients!
Just use straight pH'ed water till done!

Final washing will be a useless activity also. It will simply bring back the to many popping ball toxic condition.
You might try at the complete END of the grow. Simply pulling up the plant from the pot and attempt to shake of as much of the soil as possible and then place the root ball in a bucket of straight pH'ed water......next mourning does the plant look wilted badly? Go ahead and harvest, you tried.
Does it look like it's alive? Give it a few days in the bucket of water, that will be your "wash"

Dr Who is RIGHT!!! I didnt realize you were doing time release. Don't do that.

Don't use tap water. It likely has chlorine and other fun stuff in it. Let it stand in a bucket for a day with a bubbler from a fish tank in it to evap the chlorine first, and get it up to temperature. Follow the plumbing back to its input at the main and make sure it isn't being treated first, if so, get it from the hose outside. Better yet, buy a 5 gallon at the grocery and you will be all set.
