GDP and Grape Ape are clone only strains
DP is as far as I know the only BXed Purple Urkle cross availible in seed form it grows very slow and has a deep grape melot taste

This strain was created to lock down more of the Urkle dominant traits and bring out more of the musty grape taste that Urk is famous for.
The strain produces a wide range of female plants and not all of them will exhibit colors at all. The ones that due however are highly sought after and several people concider there Purple Grape females amoung there best Indicas strains. Not a huge producer or a fast growing plant it makes up for it in taste and high quality.

I've got deep grandad goin' right now....I had 2 d.p.'s I just picked...one had 'aztec' leaves, and the other looked normal- the normal one reeks of GDR- grandad romulan!!!! that's the name of the keeper pheno... that 'nutella' smell in juggernaut is more pronounced(a LOT more), but I'm guessing that's the romulan in the spacequeen, 'cause it's in 2 different spacequeen strains. the deep grandad was my plan to start a grandad bx; but the GDR has grandad(seeped through) flavor already..maybe the aztec lookin' one will be more grapey like erkel. I love that erkel taste; but grandad is in my all time top 5 for flavors...it's PRIMAL

WOW: A thread by the Man that I can actually join in. If there is anything I know less about than growing, it's computers,however, I can consume with the best of em. 6 or so months ago weren't you down on Purps?What changed your mind? Small plants,varied colors,with a few more alterations you could possibly get a stealth plant(not readily recognizable as Ganj).Saw a plant posted a week or so ago with VERY short,wide leaves,a little shorter a little wider,reduce the serration size and this leaf may not be readily identifiable as mj..Can a plant be developed with only three leaves, no 5s or 7s?Could open up backyards all over world and coincidenly make a buck or two.Would you comment?

cool info on this thread... im wanting to do a plant that has a deep purple or red color and has a sweet taste that mimiks a recognizeable fruit.. either blueberrry grape or whatever else... one that can grow fast as possible, good yield, be cloned, be mother plant... any suggestions? I done blueberry a while back but didnt get a purple color all though it did taste a little sweet.. it was very good bud... is there any better then this?

you need overnight temps below 50 degrees F. that will make even non purples purple. organics will get the prettiest finishers. I don't buy into the purple thing at all- my 'purples are every bit as strong green , as they are when they're black(organics). people just go gaga over purple looks...passing over more potent weed in their street play-uh dipshit mentality(ignorance is bliss!)..."it's da chronic" can be substituted for "I got no edjukashun, but I do have street smarts I learned from my homie- "tore up 40"- I learned everything from him and the rapper 2 cent!"
