decontamination

In my FC this morning I noticed that a small portion of the perlite (approx. 2" x 2") has started growing some type of black crud. I'd post pictures but I have no camera or cell phone, but that's besides the point since this grow was effed from jump street. The real question is, what is the best way to sterilize a grow room after any type of contamination? Would it be spray bottle of bleach on every surface in the room? Or is there a better/more efficient way of doing it so I don't have to soak an entire 10' x 10' room in bleach? I just don't want to risk anything lingering around and messing up the next grow.

Also, I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, when I tried the search function all I saw was posts on sterilizing the jars for inoculation.

remove it if you can, if your substrate does not sit on the perlite?, then yes a spray down with bleach would be in order. i dont think there is a need to restart but this does tell you, that you need some type of filtration on your growchamber if you already have that you may need to think about making it a better filter.

Probably just get a second FC, and lay new perlite, then transfer.

Are you using cakes/ pucks? Probably fucked if it's a bulk

also i would clean the house first more than likely the spores for that mold originated in the house somewhere rather than the grow room.
