Decision Time

So I had an odd thing happen to my plant. Its my first grow, and shed gone through a number of stresses, but made it to week 9 of flowering. The buds were looking pretty airy, but smelled good and looked healthy. I figured it would only be a matter of days until the hairs started to die back and more of the trichs started changing.

Then all of a sudden it just exploded with new growth. Buds filling out, way more stank, tons of new hairs every day. The trichs are only at about 25% clear and 75% cloudy.

So whats the problem? Wait it out till they get nice and big and harvest right?

Im going away Saturday the 12th and getting back Sunday the 20th. This means i either harvest Friday the 11th or Monday the 21st. I like really heady bud, ideally less than 25% amber trichs. Would it be wiser to wait until late Friday to chop her or do it first thing when I get back? Half and half?

I'll be posting pictures tomorrow, in case my description wasnt enough. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, you may just have a longer flowering strain. I know some sativa's will look like they are done early but in fact just keep reproducing more new growth out of the old buds that look finished (Nevilles Haze and Jack Herer). I hear that Jack Herer goes through many phases of looking likes it's done before it actually is. I agree with the wait it out. I almost guarantee it will work itself out. Out of curiousity, do you know what strain it is?

It was just some good mids bag seed. This is the second time I've had to leave her during flowering and I think the minor draught may have slowed down or paused the flowering for a bit.
