Decided To Review Two Companies Performance and Products

After a lot of reading and research of different seed companies, I've decided to conduct my own. Ordered seeds from Attitude Seeds and Amsterdam Seed Company. Ordered both on the same day and received orders from both companies in two weeks time, only a day's time in difference.

Attitude sent exactly what I ordered, the extra seeds promised, as well as two extra above the total expected. None crushed. Amsterdam Company sent exactly what I ordered, the extra seeds promised, as well as five extra above the total expected. Only one seed appeared crushed. All seeds from both companies were properly marked and identified.

At present I am germinating five seeds from each company. In a weeks time I'll report back as to germination results. So far, the results in terms of delivery performance, both companies get an A+. I'm going to use the damp paper towel method for both groups under the exact same heat and humidity circumstances.

imo, germ rates have absolutely nothing to do with the banks that they came from, but rather whatever breeder you ordered them from..

...unless the banks mishandled the seeds, i agree it's whatever breeder they came from. try a few banks and get that purchasing experience. everyone has their favorite over time, and each have special promos that entices the purchase...

I have found all attitude, herbies, and sannies all to be reliable. They all have a day or two or even a month for sannies difference. (but too be fair sannie sent the package twice because the first time didn't even come to my house it got sent back >.< . I am happy with all 3 companies they gave me what was expected and Sannie threw in some extra freebies for me that I shared.

The only concern I have is how seeds are stored and handled. In the wrong environment they get crushed ruined, If 100% germ from one company and 30% from another it says something. At any rate all 10 experiments have germed. Excellent results so far. Also, Being a somewhat new grower, it will be interesting to see which seeds types are the hardiest and can survive my miss-steps; the species that truly are the easiest to grow. In short this experiment is going to test the bank, the breeder and the species and, indoor vs an outdoor grow.

With the damp towel being a 100% success, the next 10 seeds will be started in the same manner. LED 600 watt grow light arrived today. This will be used in combination with others lights.

You have to be very careful with Amsterdam. The seeds might not be what they are packaged as and the 20 free seeds will be the worst plants you have ever grown. I ended up throwing mine out to the birds. Nothing but mutated plants and herm mutated plants came out of the 20 free seeds.
