Decarbing Fresh Cut in Hot Oil

I hear most everyone say that you must dry before decarbing but I'm not sure why if decarbing is all about the proper application of heat. Given the low specific heat of oil, which would allow for a faster transfer of heat as well as a constant transfer of that heat (faster/more consistent than heated air in an oven), I wonder if one could decarb fresh cuts in a hot oil bath. I have an induction cooktop so holding a precise temperature is not an issue as with an electric or gas stove top. Has anyone tried this?

oil will extract the THC because it will bind to the fats in the oil
decarbing is to be sure you activated it, and will get rid of some chlorophyll

Instant pot high pressure for two hrs....cool... repeat. I usually do it 3x
I believe an IP runs at around 240f

Oven I did the 36hr version
240 for 36hrs

The Instant pot is a better way in my opinion

is this with wet or dry bud?
Be careful immersing bud in hot oil , the water may react badly with it (oil explode/fire)
if you heat them up slowly together im sure it would be fine, decarb would only reduce how green it gets
