4 weeks old.
4 26 watt 6500k cfl's
MG soil
1/4 strength MG nutes
watered every 4 days
FIM'd last night.
Debating kicking into flowering mode this weekend. Too soon?
Debating repotting. currently in a 6" diameter pot, 6" deep.
Keep in mind this is my first successful grow.
I have a 64 watt CFL of the yellow spectrum variety, and 2 more 26's that color i intend to use to flower. Ideas? Suggestions? Other than to spend $100 on HID lights?

I would get a bigger pot soon. I had some about the same age and repotted to 3 gallon grow bags from ebay. It was $3 for 10 of them. When I took them out of the 8" pots the roots were all on the bottom bunched up looking for more room to roam free. Put in a bigger pot and they take right off. As far as when to put into flower, I don't know how much room you have but I would let the FIM grow out a little and then go for it. I am still a noob so take it as my opinion only. Later.
 
You may have already considered this but in one word SCROG

Its much eaiser to keep the lights where they need to be if you train your plants. I did mine with a 400W link in sig.

If you want small plants like if your limited on space keep then in the 4" pots. If you want bigger plants, get bigger pots.

See, I didnt mention getting a HPS did I?
