I live in Socal and as long as you get your recommendation and grow the limit you won't have a problem. All of cali you can grow. I pay $900 rent for my apartment plus $50 for each of my dogs(2) a month
thanx for the info, I just need a place I know I can survive on saved up cash until i can get a job,,,and ive heard some ppl say they live of just selling to dispenseries,,how profitable and realistic is that though

California Native Here.
So Cal is expensive, 1000$ one bdr (City) and 900 (Rural).

Each county has different ordinances, maybe choosing the most friendly county, or city.

San Diego City Current Regulations. UP to one Lb Personal, and up to 64X64 Grow area (Indoors or Greenhouse). [The Margolin Guide yr2010]

Possession, most likely won't need to look at card. [SDPD contact last week]

i have seen some decent living space towards the mexico border (have to worry about illegals or border patrol), east county (lakeside, santee fairly decent on rent), if you want really cheap there are some out of the way areas in jamul or descanso, alpine. Rancho san diego has a few decent rentals. if you hit up the mountain or desert areas just make sure you dont have to cross a border patrol checkpoint to get into town, they will definately mess with you if you are caught.

what do you do for a living? it's usually best to pick a place that has jobs in your field. for the most part the more rural the area the better for cost of living. As you approach the ocean prices also rise steeply. Stay inland a bit and you're probably Ok. I'd say look around the Lodi area. It's not too far from anything but still not super close to anywhere and you'll be within 2 hours of skiing or surfing or anything in between. It's also in NorCal where the political and meteorological conditions are better. Angels Camp, French Camp, Ione, Sonora, are also nice spots.
