Dealing with mold

Outdoors in an area where mold has presented a problem in the past.
I want to spray with worm tea to
build up good colonies to protect against mold.

The plan was to spray every week until two weeks to harvest.
Leaves for sure but what about buds.

Was planning on using worm castings n just enough molasses to get things going.

The Questions

Should I spray the buds as well.
Im sure some tea will get on them
even if im careful.

Will simple worm tea prevent mold or is there a better tea.

What are any flaws you see in my plan.

Thanks for looking

I think if it were me, I'd spray the buds too. It's all organic, and those are the parts you def. don't want mold at. Plus mold is much less likely to spawn on leaves and stems.

I have these problems too, it rains like HELL where I'm at and the humidity is nuts. I think I'm going to have to pull plastic over my outdoor plants this season for the ultra rainy weeks.

I have eagle 20.
Im not opposed to it.
Might hit them with it right when they go in the ground.
Then start with the tea in hopes that I can build up a colony to protect it during the finish.

An AACT would be beneficial both as a foliar and a drench. Pro-tekt (silica) is another great product which strengthens the plants immune response for heat, drought, pests, etc. I've never messed with it myself, but lacto bacillus serums are easy to make and are supposed to be effective in this regard too.

The only consideration with any of the above is timing. It would be best to inoculate the phyllosphere prior to bud set. I personally would be reluctant to spray anything on fully formed buds. That's asking for issues imo.

I forgot about the pro-tek I want to try that for sure.

I wonder if the microbes sprayed on leaf will migrate to the buds or do they stay put on the surface they land?

Its bacteria colonies right?
In school, horticulture school, they say bacteria dont travel far at all because of their size, fungi travels much further. Like you said, some of the spray will most likely get on the buds so that might be enough. If it were me i dont think i would drench fully formed buds but a fine mist, once over might be okay. I havent had any mold issues.
If you were indoors i might look at those little balls that suck moisture out of the air.. I have no idea what they are called but i use them at the end of flowering, and they suck all moisture out of the air. Dont know if they would work outside though
