dead leaves = lessened potency?

So my c99s are about 30 days into flower, and over the last week and a half the leaves have been slowly turning yellow with brown spots and then completely decaying at the ends as well as curling up. Ive done my research but its really hard to tell if its a mag lockout, a zinc lockout, or a maganese lockout.
Because it looks like a mix of these im chalking it up to a ph imbalance. I use testing drops so I guess thats quite feasible.

I tried differing amounts of cal/mag and ppm ranges and nothing has seemed to help.
I guess my question is since it seems like its too late to fix, how much will it affect the potency?
I know it will probably fuck the yield cause some of the purple wrecks that are right next to the c99s buds have pretty much stopped growing...but I was really looking forward to trying the real deal c99 and im really hoping the potency wont be affected too much. (they still have all their bud leaves just the fan leaves are dying)

Anyone have good news for me?!

It could be a few things but by what you described I would say your right about the PH imbalance. It sounds like your PH is too high. You can def count on yellowing leaves that curl and turn brown if PH is too high. Other things can cause this, but PH is a likely culprit. PH has caused 99% of problems I have run into growing cannabis. I would get some dolomite/hydrated lime or soil acidifier asap to level out the PH so she can try to heal up.

Otherwise c99 is a fast flowerin strain. Your about half way through, so just try to fix the PH and let her ride. She should finish up nicely for you if you can manage to fix it, cannabis is a pretty tough plant.

Necrotic spots on the leaves dont photosynthesize, any spot of discoloration photosynthesizes at a much slower rate. So if 10% of your healthy leaves that recieve a goos amount of light end up dead, you just lost a lot of production from the plant, it will have to work harder to survive and produce and overall just slows growth down tremendously depending on how bad it is. Lower leaves dont recieve much light anyways and photosynthetic production is slow in these leaves, thats why people remove them.

Thanks for the encouraging words nameless :D ill be better about borrowing a friends ph meter as ive never used lime before!

Silicity i agree that its gonna slow down or even stop a good chunk of photosynthesis.... but is that gonna affect yield, potency, or both in your opinion?

Its all dependant on how much damage and how long they got left, yes quality if affected but if you atleast get back on the right track you'll more than likely end up with decent smoke.

I mixed lime with my super soil but I don't think it was enough. Do you guys think I can just top dress with it ?
