De-oderizeing

I understand that a carbon scrubber is a relativly effective way of deodorizing, and that there is a diy page for making one, But what about those HEPA deodorizing machines you can buy at wallmart or whatnot. If I was to place one of those in the grow room, would it safely eliminate the smell, or no?
 
Just ask the clerk, "Excuse me sir, do you think this will suffice for deoderizing the stench my dog taking a dump in my room everyday?"
 
i have a dehumidifier in my room and it does the job perfectly... couldnt tell the difference between a grow room and a church, it can be loud sometimes so i choose not to always have it on
