Daytime 3 hr. lights off good or bad

Was wondering if I turned my lights (400w hps) off for 3 hrs during the warmer part of the day would that bother anything? There 3 wks in veg. in a hydro sys.Thanks

maybe you should switch your lightcycle around some so its normally off during those times........

You're on 24 now and thinking of 21? That would be fine in veg but you can't be flexible in flower.

I'd leave the lights on 24/0 if you can. You can cut back and veg 18/6 or 21/3 (with 3 dark hours.) Like Illegal said, if heat is an issue, adjust your light cycle to run during the cooler time day/night. A small fan pointed at the light may help blow the heat off.

oh, i didnt think of 24/0 lol, i was assuming he was using 18/6, sure, switch to 21/3 or 20/4, whatever ya want. but during flower run it during night so that you normally have your dark period when its most hot outside.
