Daylight CFL and Yellow CFL question...

Hi,
So She's a month old ( pics included) , about 9 inches , with no nutes , aprx. 83-93 F, 18-6 with 2 CFL's 'Day light' .
now I want to switch to 12-12 , should I also replace the CFL's to 'Yellow light' ?

Looking good. Just curious, do you have the ability to run both for an additional 2 weeks? Also, keep an eye on your temps and you didn't mention humidity.

you mean additional 2 weeks with the 'day light' ? Or run both 'day light' and 'yellow light' ?
and the humidity is VERY high, don't know exactly...

Do you water before dark period (if you don't don't do that) keep an eye on that if it goes above 60% when its flowering you could get bud rot or powder mold on your leaves. how is your airflow? ventilation?

Keep in mind that most of us will never criticize...some will. Let's start with some common terms so we are talking about the same thing... let's use "Veg" and "Flower"...many use MH and HPS, but you are using CFL that can work nicely and you have fine looking plants. My suggestion was to use you Veg lights or if you have the hardware, both Veg and Flower lights for an additional 2 weeks, then primarily flower.

My plans include using a 600w MH when I switch to 12/12 for an additional 2 weeks. After that I'll switch the bulb(s) to 600w HPS and add 2 250w CFL with reflectors. Plants love the combo frequencies....but too much humidity will cause probs. You need a way to keep the humidity in the 50% range and the temps around 78. Some or all can be done with ventilation. Do you run oscillating fans for movement? Also, at what point are you going to top? Have you considered LST or any other method of growing? Just curious.

I'm new at this, so half of what you said is like chinese to me...
as for the humidity, I dont know exactly because I dont have the right equipment.
ventilation - 2 PC fans inche away from the plant working 24/7, and a hole at the top of the closet, the window at the room is always open.

Seems like I have all the wrong conditions fot it - temp,humidity,no nuts,no insane light and ventilation kits , but still, it looks completely healthy and growing pretty fast...

OK, let's slow down.
I'm just getting a pic of your set up. Ventilation is needed to pull air in and exhaust it out. When those girls go to flower are you prepared for the odor? That's why it's good to have a small fan sucking air out thru some tubing of some sort and blowing it out the window. I would do some more research on a method called LST...Light Stress Training...there is a very good thread.
Also hang out on a thread that deals with grow room design...a lot of good ideas there, too.

When you switch to 12/12 lighting it's OK to use some veg lights, but primarily flowering lights. That's all I was saying about the lights.

Yes you've done fine and the grow looks very good, but you may run into problems if you don't have proper ventilation and humidity. Do some more reading. We're here to help, too.
