For a true proper scrog yeah but laying a net over top will allow you way more control than not. Better you have control than the plant.

At day 4, not really. With about another week of stretching to go, sooner is better than later.

I 3rd the scrog.
These were scrog'd a little more than a week into flower, pic 1, second pic is 10 days later. Was able to spread them out a little and took about 8inches of height.
