Day 35 of Flower, small buds? Expected yield?

Hey everyone so im currently growing 4 plants. 3 Blue Dream, and a Red Dragon. Growing in soil, using fox farm nutes using there schedule, working fine, no deficient's yet. But i expected the buds to be bigger on day 35 of flower or am i tripping?

Also these plants were vegged for 7-8 weeks and thrips encounter late in vedge so had to give them longer whilst i treated them with Neem Oil.

Also if any advanced growers could give me a rough idea on yield purely based on my pictures, i just have a lot of doubt i will get a good yield as i believe my buds should be much bigger at this point, considering Red Dragon is only a 55-60 day strain i cant see the buds getting that big in the next 20-25 days..

Thank you

Someone please give me hope that this wasnt a complete waste of time and i will get something from this, Also i forgot to mention i am runnning a 300w LED and i only recently (few days ago) realised i should have both bloom and vedge light on in flower, maybe this is why they havent done as well as some other growers at this age?

You're doing fine. Some, even most strains, put on most of their weight the last few weeks. I've only had a couple that really blew up early on, and they have never been my favorites. You're plants look healthy enough to make the marathon, just keep chugging along man. If you're plants still look like that in 30 days, that's when you worry.

Thank you Sensi, i am scared because the Red Dragon is supposed to be finished in 20-25 days, maybe me not running my light full spectrum for the first 4 weeks of flower could really decrease my yield?

Never listen to what anyone tells you how long its going to take. Its gonna take as long as it needs to finish. I don't even count my days anymore.

Hey Gorilla thanks for the response, but wont on day 60 of flower my trichs start turning amber so i cant keep it going any longer? I dont mind waiting longer than the flower period states, i just fell like they should be much bigger and dont want them to start turning amber when they are still small

Every room is different. Lighting could make it take longer a deficiency could slow it down cooler temps. Just because the breeder says 55 60 days that's not when everyone else's will finish. At 60 days your trics might not even started to change yet that's why everyone says check them when you think your close to the end.

The Net says that is an 8 week strain. Nothing flowers and finishes in 20-25 days! Adjust your thoughts to 56 days...and then figure another week or so and you will likely be in the harvest zone.

In other words, you are about 1/2 finished....

Also I always think my buds should be bigger to lol. I think we all do
Yer true man, but i have done everything so profesionally, from top end feeding/lighting/lst/ph-ing and the equipment cost a lot so i would of thought i would be doing better at week 5 than most of these guys doing weird closet grows haha.

Hey Stiicky, the plant have already been going for 5 weeks, and another 25 days would be the 8 weeks, i think you have misread something.

It looks ok to me. My only recommendation is after you harvest make a little extra cash and get a hps light or a led light that's not blurple. I bought into the blurple lights as well I actually have 5 blurple lights. They just don't produce like I expected. Now I'm back to running hps and a cob light rig I built and couldn't be happier. I pulled a girl scout cookie down a few weeks ago that I pulled almost 10 zips off from my DIY led and I still had another 7 plants under it that I just hung last night.

Hey man thanks for the info! This LED was very expensive and should do better than HPS, and you can have just the bloom light on if you want, but "blurple" is the LED's in full spectrum, which you should always use during flowering

Your light is inadequate.

They market the hell out of them lights I fell for them to. But really they are not very good for flowering. Just look around on this site and you will see. Trust me your not the only one who spent money and got tricked into buying them. A 600 or 1000 watt hps or a light from cobkits or timber will do you really well. If money is tight go for hps if you got some extra money buy a good led light and build it your self if you have a lot of extra cash you can buy a plug and play from a few different companies.

With your knowledge on LED light do you have a rough idea how much i will pull off these girls? They had an 8 week veg no problems at all apart from a very minor thrips problem, im hoping for atleast 3 oz per plant, am i asking too much for a 300w LED KINBGO

well thats upsetting having someone else confirm it, i researched the hell out of lights and all i saw was LED'S are the new thing etc, do you have an idea of yield off of 4 plants using a 300w LED, foxfarm trio nutes, soil, 8 week veg. Thank you for your time bro.

About a pound.

/S

I'm joking

If anyone were to tell you how much you can get from a picture, it's all purely a guess pulling numbers out of picture doesn't always work out. So I'll say a pound. /s. Keep your hopes up but don't be disappointed.

Realistically? People might get 2 ounces a plant if they tended to their plants well enough.
