Day 16 of Flowering???

Hello again people,
I'm 16 days into flowering now and all is well, multiple bud sites and it seems like there are new hairs flourishing everyday . However, I noticed that at the bottom of each plant there are about 2 to 4 small branches with almost no leaves on them due to a lack of light penetration. Would it be safe to clip those branches so that the nutes could go straight to where their needed????

Some people even go as far as trimming the lower branches with leaves on them so that the main cola can get most attention.

I would say you could trim them really depends some do some dont
