Day 1

Today is day one of my little project. So first thing I did was go buy a large planter pot, fill it with potting soil, toss in seed, water, and place next to window,slightly open. Then I sat & started reading as much as I could about what I have gotten in to. After that I took some more seed and put them in a cup of water and placed them in a dark moderately warm area. At this point I have a great space to grow, but nothing else. I figure over the next week or so I can begin gathering up supplies needed for a bit more serious approach. So that's where I'm at now, I hope for the support of the community in my latest project.

So to update, I got a 70w hps light and moved everything into a closet. I planted 5 seeds and I got 5 sprouts.They're all a little shorter than a lighter and have 2 rounded leaves and 2 fan leaves. I'm in the process of closing off a corner of the closet and a 400w hps light is on the way. I'm leaving the light on 24/7 right now but might change it some time this week. I'll try to get pics up soon . When would be a good time to start with feeding? They get water every other day or so with a hint of molasses.

you can start now but lightly, say 1/4 strength once a week. Don't water unless they're dried down though, not just because feel like nurturing them.
