hehe bummer for the plant flowering, what have you done to get there!? how far was the light blackstar? I had my blackstar 8'' away from my canopy up until not that long ago, I though it was too close maybe and raised it to 12-14'', but it's at that same distance from all the buds, the budsites appear to be way too far from your blackstar, personally I think the light is good for 1' 1/2'' x 2' ... no more.

you would get a much better yield if you could manage to fold those long branch way down and have the light 2' from the pot just IMO

yout should have your lights 6'' away at most... with Cfl or LED the light should be really close since they do not produce much heat, so its safe. you should top your vegging plants to keep the bud sites even all around. You will get more of a bush if you do so, instead of a skinny tree.

right now im doing a cfl grow with about 180Watts on one plant, about 4 inches away...topped multiple times and is really bushy

the thing with LEDs is that even though there is no danger with heat it can bleach your plant if you put it too close

Stress'll kill your yields. If you wanna bump up your yields you need to focus on getting an even canopy so you can get the lights down closer. The way it is now you're only getting good lighting on your top buds on the plant. You're also gonna want plants with indica-like growth patterns (ie not tall and lanky ) -- my 240w veg light is growing some squat plants right now so it can definitely be done.

So overall will you continue with led lighting?
