Dark Purple Leaves

I've read the plant abuse page and I still can't decide if the problem is P. I mean this is dark purple leave and I haven't seen or read anything that has me convinced so thought I would check with the masters out there.

What's the temperature in your room? Sometimes purple is an indication of cold. Also, there are purple strains out there. I you have one, consider yourself lucky.

I don't think its the stain as it has only been a recent thing.

Its been getting down to the upper 50s. I'm trying to change that. So you think its just the temp?
 
It is absolutely the low temps! They will continue to grow and flower just fine, the leaves will just be a different color. Really pretty, too.
 
r the leaves still soft ,,is there still new growth ,no dead vegitation??if so its prob just cold but it is because its so cold that plant is having hard time takin up p just keep water with low ec until new growth if not already happenin..maybe this will help late ar1

by low ec do you mean nutes?

Constant temps in the 50s F will significantly reduce yield. At 60F/16C, growth all but stops. 75F/24C is ideal. Even 60-65 is mucho better than in the 50s.
 
im growing some kush,it doesnt get purple traits till last 3 weeks of bud.are you getting close to harvest?
 
i just got a 7ft sativa my buddy grew and harvested. it was an outdoor plant and the strain is unknown. i transplanted it into a 5 gallon bucket and moved it indoors. the leaves and stems r turning purple and yellow. i gave it sume bloom and grow 2 days ago. the smoke is kill shit and id like to reveg it. i trimmed it down alittle and took some cuttings from it and they r in water. i have it on a 12/12 light schedule. can i reveg it or is it not worth the trouble. pics will be posted tommorrow. please help me.
